Cameron is a Partner in our Insurance Litigation team. He acts for insurers defending claims for damages for personal injuries including work incidents, public liability, motor vehicle and total and permanent disability claims against superannuation.

One of the first solicitors in Queensland to be an Accredited Specialist in Personal Injuries Law, Cameron acts for WorkCover Queensland and other large self-insurers including mining companies, manufacturers and local government.

Clients appreciate Cameron’s no-nonsense, truthful advice and the way he will focus on relevant issues and aim to resolve claims quickly and efficiently. He has represented employers in coronial inquiries and has successfully defended fraudulent claims, as well as claims involving catastrophic injury.

With over 30 years in practice, Cameron credits his success to his active involvement in the rapidly-changing insurance sector. This includes honorary roles on the Queensland Law Society Personal Injuries Conference Committee (2004 to 2016) and the Queensland Law Society Accident Compensation/ Tort Law Committee (since 2011). He has also been a contributing editor for LexisNexis in their Personal Injuries Queensland publication since 1999.

Cameron frequently presents to employers and peers on aspects of personal injuries litigation, including risk management, as part of his commitment to the profession and peer education.
